6th Graders Visit ARMS
April 26, 2019
We are back from April break and things are kicking into high gear! The 3rd – 6th graders have been working hard on their MCAS testing this past week (see below for the full schedule). Our woods were opened for recess for the first time since winter….a sure sign of Spring! Although with that comes the ticks, so be sure to check your children each day for ticks or tick bites. Nurse Katie has attached a tick info sheet to this Roadtown for more information.
We have a lot of upcoming clubs and events so make sure to check the Dates to Remember section. Mr. Carra is running a Sports Club on Thursdays after school for 3rd-6th graders. He is also running a Flying Moose Club in the mornings on Mondays for all interested students. Moose on the Move will continue in May/June on Tuesday afternoons, Thursday mornings and Friday mornings (with a brisk walk to school from the Town Common!). See more details within this Roadtown.
We also have some special events coming up. Save the dates:
Friday, May 17 – 6th Grade Spaghetti Dinner and PTO Raffle, 6:00pm & 7:30pm seatings
Friday, May 24 – NO SCHOOL – Curriculum Day
Monday, May 27 – NO SCHOOL – Memorial Day
Wednesday, May 29 – Strings Concert, 10:30am & 6:30pm
Thursday, May 30 – 6th Grade Portfolios
Thursday, May 30 – Arts Night!
Adios,
Jackie
