November 10,2016

Dear Moose,

This edition of the RTN is coming to you on Thursday as we have no school on Friday due to honoring Veteran's Day.  Your child should have brought home their pictures this week. There were some adorable toothless smiles going on!

Next week the Safety Committee will meet on Monday at 8:15am and the School Council will meet on Tuesday at 3:30.

As I write this, I am listening to children playing outside at recess. They are laughing, and skipping, jumping and playing pretend. I hear squeals of laughter and the sound of several students singing. I see teachers playing with them, and enjoying the fresh autumn air. We are very lucky for this special school and the incredible community we are a part of. Thank you all for all you contribute to our SES world.

"Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world." -Nelson Mandela

In Peace,

Jackie

Willa from 4th Grade!
WW

JCB:  What do you like to do at school?
WW:  Math.  I just like the challenge that it is to do the problems.

JCB:  What do you like to do in your spare time at home?
WW:  Reading.

JCB:  What are you reading right now?
WW:  It’s probably going to be an MCBA (Massachusetts Children’s Book Awards) book.  I read 20 MCBAs already!

JCB:  If you could eat only one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
WW:  I think it would be chocolate ice cream.

JCB:  What do you think you’d like to be when you grow up?
WW:  I really want to go to the Olympics when I grow up.

JCB:  For what?
WW:  It depends on what I want to do.  I like track and swimming.

JCB:  If you were president what would be the first thing you would do?
WW:  Banish poaching and killing animals.
