Hellllooooooooo Moose,

Two weeks to go before December break! We have a lot to look forward to in these 2 weeks. Next week, we welcome visiting artist Joshua Shack from Circus Smirkus as our Artist-in-Residence. Thanks to the MCC STARS grant and the Shutesbury PTO, Josh will teach circus-arts classes to all of our students. Students will learn some fun and exciting skills and show them to families at 6:30 pm on the evening of Friday the 16th. We will not have a daytime show this year. We will have a rehearsal at 1:30 on the 16th to prepare for the evening's exhibition. Students will be asked to wear any bright and cheerful clothing for the exhibition!

Also in the weeks ahead:

School Council Meeting 12/13

School Committee Meeting 12/15

Picture Retake Day 12/20

Early Release at 1:00 ( Friday) 12/23

The weather is cold and the children are excited by the snow. We ask that all students have snowpants, hats, gloves and waterproof boots to play in the snow for our 30 minute recess time. We have several boots and snowpant options to borrow at the school if needed.

See you at the SES Circus next week!

Jackie
