NO AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM

Dear Moose,

On Tuesday we celebrated the arts at Shutesbury Elementary School with a fabulous Spring Concert and Art Show.  Thank you to all of the volunteers, and especially our art and music teachers, Sarah Cadran and Hannah Berube.  Many people have expressed delight in the range of musical diversity in the concert – from drums and dancing to singing and recorders…. and even a bit of spaghetti!!   The wide range of artwork was also impressive.  Sculptures, clay, painting and even Claymation!!  What a night!!

Congratulations 6th Graders!  What a fantastic graduation ceremony last night.  We are so proud of you and wish you the best of luck next year.

Monday is the last day of school.  Dismissal is at 1:00 for K-6 and 12:30 for Preschoolers.  An all school assembly will take place from 9-9:45 where the Buddy Books for 6th graders will be given out by the Kindergarteners and we’ll wrap up the year.  Thank you so much for the family and community support throughout this year.  This school is certainly a special place.  Have a fun and safe summer and we’ll see you August 29 for our first day of the 2018-19 school year!!

Jackie

***SCHOOL NEWS***

THERE WILL BE NO AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM ON MONDAY, JUNE 25.

SCHOOL SURVEY NOW AVAILABLE!!   Every year, the School Council requests your feedback on various school topics. We greatly value your thoughts and ideas. We have created our survey and we request you take 5 minutes to share some feedback around your child's experience at SES.  We have spent time creating a survey that does not take a long time, but that gives us information on your feedback. It is honestly a short task! You can even enter to win a prize at the end!  Please consider taking a small amount of time out of your day to complete our survey. Thanks so much in advance.
