Shutesbury Elementary School is pleased to offer G Suite for Education, formerly Google Apps for Education, cloud service for staff, teachers, and students. This service provides exciting new tools that can be integrated into the educational curriculum.  Some of the many benefits include the ability to access information from school or home and to increase the ability to collaborate and share information with fellow students and teachers.  If students and parents opt out of the cloud service, this will impact students ability to use certain technology devices and they will not be able to utilize these tools as part of the curriculum.  

The G Suite for Education domain is hosted by Google and managed by the School Technology Coordinator. Currently grades 3-6 have individual access to Google Drive, Docs, and Slides. The goal will be to provide access to grades K -2 in the future. Upon parental/guardian consent, student accounts are created in the G Suite for Education platform and students can begin using these resources in school or at home.
