Dear Moose,
Happy 2016 to you all! After talking with the staff and students, it seems like our school community had a great break. Some families traveled far distances; others enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful stay-cation. It was great to see everyone again on Monday. I swear the students always look 2 inches taller and much older after a break!
January has certainly brought with it some really cold temperatures. This is a reminder that we have students go outside for recess if the temperature is 12 degrees or higher. All students are required to have a warm coat, hat and gloves/mittens to enjoy recess at the colder temperatures. To be able to play in the snow, students need snow pants and boots. If you need assistance in securing any of these items for your child(ren) please let Dennise know.
Today we enjoyed a SES T-Shirt day! Students wore their SES shirts that had been bought from the PTO or ones that were homemade! It was fun to see all of the school spirit in the hallways. This is a reminder that we still have shirts for sale from the PTO. Stop by the office to purchase one! Below, enjoy a couple of pictures from today!
The week ahead includes a School Council meeting on Tuesday at 3:30. We also have assembly on Friday the 15th
On Tuesday of this week I attended a budget meeting at the Town Hall with our town officials and the Finance Committee. When I arrived I saw the Select Board and our Town Administrator in SES T-Shirts! It was so great and I snapped a picture. You can enjoy it below.
Have a great weekend,
Jackie
